Kathy...the branches come in various colors. These darker red one's have been depleted from our inventory, and our current supplier only has the browner one's available. I could see if I could find a redder one for you if you would like. Just let me know!

Mary Jo...if it is a Cotton Sak Loop Top, then yes. If it is a Cotton Sak Stork Sling, then you will need to tie it.

Hi Gretchen! You can read the Free Lesson on how to safely put a newborn in the sling...and it explains how I use the branch. Thank YOU!

Thanks for the wonderful info!!! I'm expecting my first grandchild at the end of August, so I've been trying to read all I can about newborn photography. I do have a question - What type set-up do you use to hold the branch/bar up?

Thanks a bunch!!!!

Mary Jo...GREAT question, and a good reminder for me to post a note!! (which I have)

You'll need to remove the padded, bendable bar from the sling BEFORE attaching it to your sling. Once attached, simply put the bar back in!

Thank YOU so much for your question!

So, I have the sling that is sewn in the back. Do I do the same thing by laying the branch on top, tossing the fabric over and pulling it through that hole in the back that was left open?
